Most of my workflow while using ACDSee involves just dragging and dropping files and images, and using the contextual menus to quickly execute tasks like share/email, organize, and resize. It does what it’s supposed to do quickly and efficiently, and though it doesn’t have a ton of bells and whistles when it comes to additional features, it makes up for that in power and capability.

The interface in ACDsee is very easy to follow and most importantly works as advertised. you can pre-live blend (exposure, color, contrast) or auto-blend (exposure, color, contrast) and later apply the edits to your photo. the auto-blending function is very effective and allows you to get a good look at the pre-processed version of your image as you make your decisions about the edits you need to make.

Being able to create custom presets and style sheets that you can apply to the image with ease is also worth the price of entry. ACDsee makes it easy to create presets by giving users the ability to access a library of over 1,000,000 photos.

For those that might be a little more tech savvy, some of the additional features in free download acdsee pro include the ability to stitch a series of images together with a guide shot. The ability to do professional re-touching on images (similar to when you use AfterEffects) is also worth it… if you have the skills to take advantage of those features you may.
