I have a 16.2.40 issue with Revit where you update a material and it dis-appears from the list, but when you update the material it becomes available. And things like that. It will not resolve and I cannot find any help or advice. Thought I would post here on this forum to see if anyone else has experienced this.

I am having an issue here with Revit 20.2 on my Windows 10 system. When I add a custom material to a model, the material will be available to me to work with for changes or selection. BUT, when I change a color, the color will no longer be available for selection or change. I am a little confused. How do I make the color change available for me to work with?

I have an issue with Revit 20.2, when I modify my line color it disappears, but when I modify it again the original color comes back. I have done a Google search and have not found anyone else that has a similar issue. There is a known issue, but since it hasn’t been resolved it is not available for download. This particular issue is driving me nuts.

Would like to add a new deck to a drawing in Revit. Lets say, DRAWING 2. DRAWING 2 is linked to a deck, which means that deck’s boundary is added to DRAWING 2. I have another deck in the same drawing called DRAWING 3. DRAWING 3 is NOT linked to any deck, so lets say its just DRAWING 3. DRAWING 2 is the parent (is this the term?) of DRAWING 3, so DRAWING 3 is inside of DRAWING 2. DRAWING 3 has a ‘boundary’ created. Now I can make changes to DRAWING 3 and it will show up fine in the UI of Revit. But, if I make changes to the ‘boundary’ in DRAWING 3, it does not update in the UI. In this case, what happens is that the changes to the deck’s boundary do NOT show up in the UI. DRAWING 3 is just sitting inside of the parent DRAWING 2 and not aware of the changes to its boundary.
